Joanne is available for private teaching of saxophone, clarinet, recorder and music theory at all levels from beginner to advanced

Joanne is an experienced teacher with over 22 years in the profession. In 2006 she qualified as secondary music teacher, adding another dimension to her education work. She currently teaches the clarinet and saxophone at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in Holland Park, one of the highest achieving schools in London, and also teaches privately. In the past, Joanne has taught at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts at a Postgraduate level and also the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa to name but a few of the many establishments with which Joanne has been associated.

Joanne's teaching qualifications include the prestigious Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music in clarinet and saxophone teaching. Her recorder teaching is endorsed by the Licentiate of Trinity College of Music certificate. Whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music Joanne was awarded a first class degree with honours and then went on to complete a Masters Degree.

Joanne's enthusiasm for music education has led her to begin a music education programme at Northern Ballet where she successfully led the first ever music course in Easter 2009.
